Tiered pricing: resource sharing in action
PLEASE NOTE: this page does not include prices. It is only an explanation of my tiered pricing model. My actual prices are listed on each of my offered coaching options.
I believe in being transparent about pricing, as coaching relies on trust, and this is my first opportunity to earn yours.
When you begin to explore my coaching options, you’ll see clear pricing and multiple tiers.
When determining these rates, I consider my own needs, my expertise, and my capacity. I also consider accessibility, equity and my opportunities to facilitate resource-sharing. In addition to these internal workings, when you pay to work with me, you are also supporting my ability to continue doing unpaid labor to serve our communities: thank you.
I use the following “green bottle” visual model as the basis for recognizing financial circumstances
(if you are a person with visual impairment/low vision,

NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS: Those who fall into the third category (financially burdened/low-income) AND identify as queer and/or BIPOC are nearly always eligible for my need-based scholarship waitlist. I offer scholarships for AUDACITY (my intimate group course for marginalized people) only.
Those who fall into categories one and two will select from three tiers of rates, based on your circumstances:
STANDARD RATE: my standard prices for this work. It’s my expectation that everyone begin by considering your financial ability to pay my standard rate, which may include pulling from savings, shared household resources, or budgeting/prioritizing differently.
ACCESSIBLE RATE: for some of you, paying my standard rates would lead to an inability to meet basic needs (food, housing, etc). You may lack access to the income, shared financial resources or savings that would make my standard rate a possibility without significant financial hardship. My accessible rate is for you.
WEALTH-SHARING and WEALTH-REDISTRIBUTION RATES: Perhaps you’re fortunate to have ample resources to readily pay my standard rate, and you’d like to additionally support low-income Queer and/or BIPoC people’s access to my work. Thank you! When you choose these rates, you are directly sponsoring need-based scholarships for people participating in AUDACITY.
You will find available tiered prices listed clearly in each of my offerings.
Please note that I distinguish between financial hardship and financial sacrifice, and this is what you should consider as you apply at the rate that is appropriate for you. Financial Sacrifice means that you might pull from your savings, cut back on travel plans or recreational spending, access resources within your partnership or family, or save less than you typically do in order for us to work together. These are sacred sacrifices, ones that you choose to make in order to invest in yourself and this journey that we will embark upon together. Financial hardship comes into play if paying my standard rate would make it impossible for you to afford basic living expenses, such as food, utilities, and transportation to work. My accessible rate (or scholarship list) is for you - so that your financial sacrifice doesn’t extend into financial hardship.
If you are in the fortunate position of being able to pay my standard rate with ease, I ask that you consider whether you’re willing to extend yourself and pay my wealth-sharing rate to grant access to someone with extremely limited resources.
I do not require proof or documentation; these rates are based in mutual trust and open conversation. That said, keep in mind that I can’t afford to work with everyone at accessible rates, so if you have the ability to pay my standard rates and inappropriately claim a scholarship or accessible spot, you are taking an opportunity from someone that truly needs it.
Now that you understand my pricing, it’s time to explore your options (scroll down)!
